If you are wanting to learn how to take your camera off of 'AUTOMATIC' and learn the basics & fundamentals of photography, this workshop is for you! We will take you through the program modes and functions of the DSLR/Mirrorless camera, talk about lenses, flashes, exposure, elements of composition, shooting strategies & post production (retouching) best practices. We will also discuss and demonstrate workflow best practices (Getting photos from camera to computer, storage, gear to use and best practices in how to work on photos)
- This workshop will give you a good start at starting to photograph the right way whether for hobby or business.
- This workshop will give you a great understanding of your camera.
- This workshop will give you a better understanding of how light works and best strategies of approaching how you photograph certain subject matter.

Needed for this class
- DSLR/mirrorless Camera - Digital Single Lens Reflex (Camera with detachable lenses)
- Batteries for camera
- Charger
- Whatever memory card your camera takes (Ex. SD Card, Compact Flash or xD Memory Card)
- Come ready to take notes and shoot photographs
What you can Expect
- 4 hours of learning, 1 hour for lunch.
- Last 2 hours is Photographing what we've learned in the first 2 hours
- Snack and water provided in Person.
- Content and Resources provided as takeaways in digital format.
